Driving for Dreams 2008 - Sunday March 9

On Sunday, 9 March 2008, over 250 Porsches and 600 participants from across Western Australia will come together for the second annual Driving for Dreams day.

The day will begin with the assembly of the 250 Porsches on Langley Park in front of the Hyatt Hotel.

All Porsche owners, passengers, VIPs (Wish kids and their families) and sponsors will then be treated to a delicious brunch in the Grand Ballroom, generously donated and hosted by the Hyatt Hotel Perth.

Sponsor presentations and lots of meet and greet opportunities will ensue before the active part of the day begins - the driving!

After brunch and some time to absorb just what 250 Porsches looks like displayed on the grass with the Swan River in the background, with the help of WA Police the Porsches will form a convoy and depart Langley Park by 1.00pm.

The convoy will proceed North up the freeway and cruise through Joondalup City where the local council is arranging areas for the public to watch the parading Porsches.

The Convoy will continue past Barbagallo Raceway and along the beautify Old Yanchep Road to the gates of the magnificent Yanchep National Park.

Here the Porsche owners will be display their cars on the long stretches of green grass under the trees around Lake Yanchep whilst enjoying an afternoon tea.

Porsche owners, their guests, the VIP's and the public are encouraged to stroll amongst an estimated $25 million dollars of Porsches and enjoy the activities arranged for us by the Yanchep National Park before attending a charity auction.

The auction is filled with some great buying opportunities including travel, driving memorabilia and more....

The day come will come to a close after 4.30pm.
